We offer direct care services to clients and patients, to optimise their medication therapy and produce better results. This includes the provision of Home Medicines Reviews (HMRs) to patients through facilitating referrals from their usual GP. In this process we engage the patient, their carer, the GP, relevant specialists and the patient’s regular pharmacy.
Other services include mentoring clinicians and health practitioners to achieve the highest standards of practice. This includes accreditation and credentialing by various professional bodies, such as AACP and SHPA.
One key aspect of PharmaceuCare’s education arm is the individualised programs we offer. We understand that learners, clinicians and researchers are individuals and have unique learning needs to advance their career, skillset and competencies. This is why tailoring our educational programs has been a great success and a valued aspect of our educational activities.
PharmaceuCare is an advocate of evidence-based practices, and our involvement in research is a key activity. Due to the expertise within PharmaceuCare, we are able to conduct research, mainly clinical and practice-based research, and to offer guidance on research activities on a commission basis.
Whether our client is a pharmacy department, an overseas research team, an organisation still setting its research strategic plan, an early career clinician, or an advanced researcher, PharmaceuCare can provide significant contribution to research activity. This spans from guidance on, and facilitating, strategic planning and directions, to planning single research projects, performing systematic reviews, statistical analysis, to the write up and publication stages that ensure research findings are effectively disseminated around the globe in the most impactful fashion.
Our passion for research is overwhelming here at PharmaceuCare, and our research unit is keen to be engaged at all levels of research activity.
