About Us

Mission Statement

We aim to be one of the largest providers of pharmaceutical care services. We aim to increase patients' ability to improve their medication treatments and prevent medication-related problems. This empowerment is best achieved in collaboration with patients, carers, doctors, pharmacists, and all to follow a compassionate, yet evidence-bassed approach.

We also aim to equip clinicians such as GPs and pharmacists with support services of the highest standards, to optimise their clinical decision making that leads to improved health outcomes for their patients.

PharmaceuCare's vision is to become one of the leading education, research and pharmaceutical care providers in Australia. To this end, PharmaceuCare recruits the best staff, reaches out to the most vulnerable patients, engaged with all stakeholders to create and curate the best evidence-based practices that have a real  impact on individuals.

Our Business

PharmaceuCare was established in 2008, to provide mainly Medication Management services. However, this quickly expanded to encompass other services, and the company recruited more staff, including administration and IT support staff.

Our Consultant Pharmacists are of the highest standards, with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. They have expertise in chronic disease management, for example heart failure, diabetes, asthma/COPD, among other conditions.

This experience is supported by higher qualifications from leading Australian universities, and accreditation from peak pharmacy organisations, such as the Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy (AACP). All our Consultant Pharmacists have undergone extensive training and education, leading to appropriate accreditation from AACP. They maintain their advanced knowledge through participation at regular continuous professional education events.

Research and Quality Improvement activities are one of the cornerstones at PharmaceuCare. Publications in renowned peer reviewed journals, and presentations at various international medical and pharmaceutical conferences ensure PharmaceuCare is a world leader in the provision of cutting edge healthcare services. This makes our organisation a leading force in the field and a trusted source of support.

Retaining the services of PharmaceuCare will certainly be one of your most prudent decisions. Whether you are a GP referring for HMRs, a pharmacist looking for mentoring to be AACP accredited, or a client who wants to improve their medication treatment, PharmaceuCare can support you.

PharmaceuCare welcomes research and development collaborations, and is willing to consider requests to join research projects and funding applications.

Other Operations

Recently, PharmaceuCare ventured in the world of publishing through the publication of a smashing title that bridged a significant gap in the career progression of many pharmacists. Community to Hospital Pharmacy: making the transition! has been an absolute success and has helped many pharmacists take a career path they will enjoy and cherish for the rest of their professional life.

PharmaceuCare currently has capacity to accept manuscripts to be published as books or ebook. We have effective collaborations with print-houses, art designers, editors and typesetters for a successful book publication project. PharmaceuCare will take your project from A to Z and bring out the author in you with minimal effort on your behalf. We will only publish high quality books with superb content, and this is why it is essential to contact us first to discuss the subject matter before making a submission.

PharmaceuCare, once again, identified a significant gap in the pharmacy profession. This led PharmaceuCare to commence operations in the professional development sphere, with the inaugural event being the Australasian Conference on Pharmacy Practice, to be held on 21st March 2020 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. This event will bring leaders of the profession in the one place to discuss the state of the pharmacy profession and how it is shaping for the future.

Event management will continue to strengthen at PharmaceuCare, with further planning and delivery of PD events that cater for all pharmacists, and other health professionals soon. One of the purposes of this operation is to support early career professionals to attend and meaningfully participate in these events. Other organisations have formed a monopoly in this area, and many pharmacists cannot afford to attend. Thus, one of PharmaceuCare’s main objectives is to deliver at-cost events that cater for the needs of everyday health professionals, not only the well-established who can afford to pay thousands of dollars to attend PD events.

PharmaceuCare will continue to support pharmacists so they are efficiently able to make a positive impact on the patients they care for, and to establish effective working relationships with their colleagues from other health professions.
