Speakers

PharmaceuCare is grateful to the speakers who will make the Australasian Conference on Pharmacy Practice 2020 a memorable event.

These are pioneers in their field, and delegates at the conference will gain a lot from attending their sessions.

We are delightful to highlight some of the speakers who have committed to joining us at the ACPP2020.

  • Professor Elizabeth Molloy
Melbourne Medical School, The University of Melbourne

    Elizabeth Molloy

Liz Molloy is Professor of Work Integrated Learning in the Department of Medical Education, Melbourne Medical School, at the University of Melbourne.

Liz’s work seeks to better prepare students to learn through practice in the clinical workplace. Liz started her career as a physiotherapist, and her interest in health professions education lead her to return to the University of Melbourne to complete a PhD (2006) on feedback in clinical education.

Liz has published more than 110 peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters and books, with a focus on workplace learning, feedback and assessment, IPE, transitions, and clinical supervisor professional development.

She received an inaugural Fellowship of ANZAHPE in 2015 and is Associate Editor of the journal Focus on Health Professions Education.

At ACPP2020, Liz will speak to us on:

"Feedback that works: Improving performance through stakeholder buy-in"

This is a very interesting topic that addresses a significant issue in pharmacy. Whether you're a team leader, manager, educator, student or a pharmacist progressing in your career, feedback can be a crucial tool that enhances performance and achieves outcomes efficiently. At ACPP2020, we will have a golden opportunity to learn from the expert, Prof. Molloy.

  • Professor Michael Dooley
    Director of Pharmacy, Alfred Health

Prof. Clinical Pharmacy, Centre for Medicine Use & Safety - Monash University.

Prof. Michael Dooley will be a significant addition to the list of speakers at the conference.

A great influencer within the pharmacy profession, delegates will certainly be inspired through his experience, expertise and world-class leadership.

Prof. Dooley will speak at the event on:

"Practice-based Research and Building Research Capacity".

Whether you are a student, a clinician, an educator or an academic, this is promising to be a golden opportunity to learn from Michael. The session will surely create a vibe and a sense of networking, collegiality and collaboration that will benefit not only the individual but teams of delegates, organisations and the entire profession.

This page will be regularly updated to include some of the great speakers who will be at ACPP2020.
